Heartspace Wellness

At Heartspace Wellness we combine energy medicine, sound healing, meditation/ mindfulness and breath techniques along with lifestyle coaching to enhance health and address chronic ailments. We find that what ails people is stuck energies, limiting self beliefs, damaging thoughts and unhealthy lifestyle. Our solution is to approach wellness by treating the individual holistically. I know when a person needs to seek out a traditional western provider/ doctor, because I practiced medicine for 19 years in family practice offices, ERs and urgent cares.

About me

I came to the practice of energy medicine unexpectedly. The process unfolded gradually over decades. It was an organic process which involved spending time listening to my students while I taught science and environmental education. Then, with patients, while practicing family medicine for 19 years. I saw my patients heal, grow and improve their lives and medical conditions, when I slowed down and listened deeply, truly seeing & hearing their needs and desires. I found that being seen and heard has as much, if not more, to do with healing than a medication, or therapy routine. I learned that health and wellness begin (and end) with the individual and can only be influenced by the practitioner or provider if they are trusted and respected by their patients.

Sometimes it felt like the nearly 2 decades practicing western medicine was a detour from doing what I love (practicing energy medicine), but I have come to see that time as part of the path to being a competent, empathetic and grounded practitioner. I have the added bonus of knowing when a person really needs to see their doctor or a surgeon. As I practiced in typical doctors offices, I found I was wanting more, like something was missing. I wanted to discuss and focus on health and I felt a deep connection with my patients. As I followed this feeling, I found myself drawn to alternatives to the standard 15 minute visit, which generally culminated in one or more prescriptions, and very little interaction with my patients.

In my practice today, I listen deeply, asking pertinent questions and intuiting what ails my patients and clients. I look less for diagnoses, illness and billing codes. I have spent decades honing my skills to help my clients heal and grow. We focus on the energetics of disease, the thoughts, triggers, and problematic behaviors. Intuition is a significant aspect of my work with clients today. I sense the energies which are ready to be released and then clear them.

I stay engaged and relevant with my clients and patients by personally following a path to exceptional health by doing my own work: clearing my own stuck energies and limiting self beliefs, meditating and practicing mindfulness daily, practicing breathwork, staying physically fit and eating a healthy diet.

My story

The backstory

I am an energy medicine practitioner because I learned how much it helps people to be heard and seen. I spent 19 years in exam rooms with patients building relationships, listening to stories and talking about health. Along the way I returned from death after a severe traumatic injury, became a physician assistant, practicing medicine in integrative medicine clinics, emergency departments, family practice clinics, urgent care and in pediatric clinics. I learned that health and wellness begin (and end) with the individual and can only be influenced by the practitioner or provider if they are trusted and respected by their patients. I help my clients to be healthier by personally following a path to exceptional health by doing my own work: clearing my own stuck energies and limiting self beliefs, meditating and practicing mindfulness daily, staying physically fit and eating a healthy diet.

Greg Glick

I have a 29 year history working in traditional and  alternative medicine evolving from emergency medicine through family practice to integrative medicine and finally arriving at energy and lifestyle medicine. I have found my vocation working as an energy medicine practitioner. This work allows me to connect more deeply with my clients and meet them where they are.

My Philosophy:

I believe in living fully, through being present each moment. Health and wellness are acquired and enhanced through intentional investment in energetic health and a positive lifestyle.

Greg is a very intuitive and a knowledgeable practitioner who understands the psyche & spirit. He is good at peeling down the layers and is present with me when I come in the door and then helps me dig deeper from there. The process is comforting. He creates a safe and trusting space.
